On Wednesday night, June 18 the Lord blessed us with two precious gifts - Liana Hope Joye and Adleigh Grace Joye. Ferris had an emergency C-section and Liana was born at 1 lb, 14 ounces and Adleigh was 2 lbs, 5 ounces. They are both beautiful and courageous little girls.
They were due on September 18, so they are 3 months premature and right at 27 weeks. I will tell the full story soon, but the Lord has already moved mightily on their behalf. In fact, Liana's name means "the Lord has answered my prayers."
Please be in prayer for our girls. Liana is the smallest and the sickest, but they both need your prayers. Our prayer is that they would both end up being healthier than a full-term baby and that they would be able to go home earlier than anyone expects. It is our "sun stand still" prayer. Pray that God would give Ferris and me strength to endure the ups and downs that await us in this season.

Praying for you too - bro. My son was premature as well. Born at 3 lbs - so not as small. It was a wild ride, but watching him grow and become healthier each day was awesome. We met some awesome people in the NICU. You are definitely in my prayers!
