It has been awhile since I have given an update on the girls. Both of them are doing great and we are praying hard that they can come home within the next few weeks. It is hard to believe that they turned 10 weeks old today!
Please pray for these specific things with us:
-That Liana would do better with her bottles and stop having reflux. This is causing her to still have bradies and we want this to pass without her needing medicine.
-For Liana to get off of her oxygen soon.
-For Adleigh to readjust to eating so that she can get to full feeds again.
If they can overcome these last few challenges they will be on their way home. We are extremely thankful for the progress they are making. I love them both so much and am more than ready for our hospital days to be over!

thanks for the update and the beautiful picture...i do believe that smile on her face means she knows daddy is singing to her...thank you for the reminder of how thankful i should be for a healthy little girl...

Thank you for taking the time to update us about the girls. They have such a big "family" who loves them and is praying for them. Please keep singing to her because she does indeed know that it's her daddy and in addition to bonding, you are increasing her brain development. As a speech therapist, we start with basic songs when working with someone who has had a major medical condition. No one can remember a time when they didn't know Happy Birthday. Songs are an important beginning ~ you are an awesome dad!
